PROJECTS

In the main hall of the Faculty of Agriculture, we will showcase more than 20 EU and nationally-funded projects that are contributing to reaching bioeconomy goals, set by the EU Bioeconomy Strategy.

EU Bioeconomy Strategy addresses the production of renewable biological resources and their conversion into vital products and bio-energy. It has 5 goals:

  • ensure food and nutrition security,
  • manage natural resources sustainably,
  • reduce dependence on non-renewable, unsustainable resources,
  • limit and adapt to climate change,
  • strengthen European competitiveness and create jobs.
